Five-by-five, be sure to ask about the rear bumper when you call too!

Re: Demello Front Bumper Thread

Just ordered my front bumper

Does anyone know which winches will fit?
Thinking of the Smittybilt XRC-8 to save a few $$, anyone install one?

Nevermind, found some great posts on the subject, I'd delete this if I knew how... lol

Warn M8000 for sure; others of very similar dimension I guess. Not a lot of extra room in there. No clue as to the Smittybilt; never seen one or even a picture of one. Check to see if the outside dimensions are close to the M8000 (M8000 detailed dimensions available on Warn's web site).

Re: Demello Front Bumper Thread

I love my Demello bumpers! I think they're the best looking ones out there, not to mention great clearance. Just had mine installed a couple days ago.

I'm wondering about spot welding the bolts. Has anyone done this? If I do weld them, how hard would it be to remove the bolts later on when I want to add a winch? Also, has anyone had problems getting pulled over because of the location of the front license plate?

I have often wondered about the front plate.. I have never had a plate up front . In fact when I got it in the mail I only received one. I know the cop will not believe me when he gives me a ticket but do cops really pull people for not having a front plate??

Also I love these bumpers....

It is CA law.

Also, it is probable cause if they are itchin to pull you over.
