Sliders I haven't seen before

Does anyone know anything about these. They look a lot like the Bentup sliders, but are only $299. Wonder who makes 'em?

Thumbs up Re: Sliders I haven't seen before

They look good, and they remembered to gusset the legs, so they should work well. I wish they had a picture on the vehicle to see how they fit and how far they extend from the body...

It looks like they may extend down from the frame then up past the edge of the body. As has been discussed before on another thread this could cause the FJ to slide onto a rock instead of away from it. But, without a picture of them mounted on the vehicle it is very difficult to tell.

Re: Sliders I haven't seen before

If you read the last issue of 4WD Toyota Owner magazine, there is an article in there on Bentup installing Trail Gear sliderz on the FJ Cruiser.
Bentup is an installing dealer of Trail Gear productrs.
http://www.trail-gear.com/dealers.html

I have a pair of Bentup sliderz here patiently awaiting the arrival of my FJ so I can install them.

Re: Sliders I haven't seen before

Andy, I saw the allocation sheet on Wednesday, and it had my name and home addy on it.
My rig got built on Thursday and yesterday, will more than likely be on next Fridays boat headed for the port of Portland, then trucked up to WA. state to my dealer.

Should be 3.5 weeks I hope.
First mod?
Bolt on them pretty Bentup sliderz.
Gettin' kind of hard to sleep here if ya know what I mean

Lookin' forward to seeing your 4Runner in it.
Just got the new July/August issue yesterday.
