Week front skid plate mounting

Took my FJC off roading and i hit a ditch. It was a slow 'bump' but the front skid mounting plate bent inwards and i have to remove the plate and straight the mounting -up. Is there any way you can strengthem these mountso that handle offroad punishment.

Not really, My suggestion would be to take the factory one to a fabricator and have them make you a 3/8 inch steel one based off the factory template. Or wait if you aren't in a major hurry. I'm sure there will be better protection for the entire vehicle from a major outfit in a few months.

Salamwalaikum my friend, 5 of them are going to be off loaded in Dammam pretty soon but unfortuantely we have to go to Empty quarter first. Perhpas we will meet you in Dubai some days if we dont destroy them first......According to my research there are less than 200 allocated for Middle East...if they make V8 engine I am sure there will be plenty more running around there....

By the way the price of those 200 (comming) is about $45,000

My customers are from the Al Saud family west of you. They just got a decree from the king to reduce the gas price....wish the decree applies to UAE as well LOL. Didnt know gas price is that high these days in your area. Have not been in UAE for 2 years now. Have a small office in Media City...and a few property there. We ship the FJ from the US by the time it gets there it is almost the same price as you paid for....
