ARB Damaged During Shipping

Recieved my ARB today and when unwrapping it I noticed a ding right below the license plate mounting hole. The Plate will not cover the ding. There are two other scratches to straight to the metal. Is the ARB painted or powdercoated? I think I can pull the ding out but I will have to touch up the scratches. Any advice before I do this. I do not think its bad enough to send back and I do not fill like waiting for the next shipment.

Re: ARB Damaged During Shipping

Sorry to hear about the damage to your bumper. Before you do anything I suggest calling the place that you purchased it from. They may take care of this for you. In terms of powder-coating, I believe they are powder-coated. The quick and easy way to cover up any sratches is with some paint from the hardware store. I am having a few recovery points welded on the front of my ARB and plan to re-paint it with black rustoleum.

Re: ARB Damaged During Shipping

bummer.

on a different note, if you plan to offroad with that bumper, you'll definitely get LOTS of dings that this ding will be no different from any other ding.

Worst case, email ARB direct and see what they will do.

Good luck
