Can't decide between the Demello or Bentup sliders. Any feedback?

Yes Landrover. I am watching that install with interest. But my question is still awaiting feedback.

Re: Sliders

I have the Bentup ones patiently waiting for the stork to bring me my FJ.

I like the round style of the Bentups, and I beleive they stick out further too than the Demello ones.
I prefer them myself to stick out more.

If you have not seen mine yet, here is a pic, followed by a pic of them on a yellow FJC at Bentups shop.

Re: Sliders

I have the Dem's otw, will post pics when I get em. Here is a link on the bentups that some of us agreed had some design issues with regards to the angle of the bars making your FJ slide towards the rock as opposed to away from the rocks. Not sure if the design has been changed though.

Bentup.com SQUARE sliders!

Bentup.com SQUARE sliders!
You can all agree that the design might not be the best...but I tried and tested mine last weekend and beat the crap outta them. Look at these pics, and if your "theory" is true...one would see rock rash on the 'slider legs' between the frame and the inner rail. I can tell you, there is NONE. I came down HARD on them, more then once...and more then once on EACH side.

The rear link skids took a good couple hits also. Along with the front crossmember supports.

I have one sqare slider, and one round slider. Personally, I think the rounds function better...but the look of the squares matches better;IMO. I also am considering removing the front plastic fender trim and fabricating a brace going from the front of the slider into the front bumper.

The rounds stick out more, which is why I think they function better.

Anyway, like them or not....here are the pics of my abuse.
