Sliders and e-brake cable bracket

I talked with a slider manufacturer today about the interference of the e-brake bracket from the sliders. He said the FJ he had in his shop came with factory sliders. He took those off and mounted his and there was no problem with the bracket.

So, is there something different about the bracket/cable on the FJ's that come with factory sliders. Maybe a different bracket or something. Could someone who's FJ came with sliders post a picture of it so we can see if it's different? This could help all of us that want sliders.

Any info? TIA

I had factory sliders and recently purchase aftermarket (Demello) sliders. The factory rock rails have a notch in them to allow for the passing of the e-brake cable. The e-brake cable has two mounts that hold it in place. There is one under the clam shell door and one right in front of the rear tire. I used a screwdriver to expand the front mount and slide it rearward until it lined up with one of the slider bolts. Simply insert the slider bolt through the e-brake mount and it will hold the cable in place just fine. IMO you could actually do w/o the front mount and never experience any issues with the e-brake cable. I will post some pictures tomorrow when I install them.

after reading the post here about the sliders ( I took off my running boards the second day.they where bugging me, STILL FOR SALE $300obo) I got to look underneath the FJ I found other mounting holes for the brakeline brackets if you feel on top of the frame there in back you will find one and on the back there is a few.
So let me know what you all think.

I finished my slider install and posted some pictures here. I also changed my mind on how to handle the e-brake cable. After getting under the FJ, I realized that if I swapped the brackets (i.e. front moves to back and back moves to front) that the cable would fit just fine. There are pictures in the other thread, so take a look and if you have more questions let me know.
