Looking for some input as to where to pick up a pair of Donahoe Racing Coilovers? I am in WV so not any dealers so mail order it is. Given that was wondering from those who have them, where they got them.
My first question is how long do you want to wait to do, or are you planning to do the rear end? I have been waiting for 2 months for the rear and just found out on Friday that Donaho has scrapped the original design for the rears that they had originally planned for production. If you don't mind waiting then the second recommendation that I would give you is shop around. I found mine $200 less than most offers just by doing a google search and finding out who was having a sale.
I was lucky that my local 4x4 store was having a yearly open house and the Donaho dealer rep was there. I got 20% off that weekend only.
They are in the process of redesigning. That is what I heard on Friday. I had my guy call their Donaho rep. I am just the messeger.. Sorry. Not sure when they will have a new design. He said hopefully in the next 6 to 8 weeks.
damn, dont think i can wait that long ...........time to go with OME in the rear.
Anyone that has OME not happy with it???
I think it works awesome on road and great off road. OME is a proven entity, while everyone else is still trying to make something to work...but OME is backordered at most dealers, too due to hugh demand...

We sale Donahoe coil overs for your Fj and until they have there rear coils come out we had a small batch of rear coils made up for the Fj they are 30% stiffer than stock and 2in taller.
I was only unhappy with the rear 895 coils. Way stiff for daily driving and even when I had +/-200lbs of camping gear and my 90lb. dog in back. I am now using custom made coils in the rear and couldn't be happier. They should have those instock in about a week. Just give them a call to get an update about that.
Also my local shop www.allphaseoffroad.com had 2 sets of the Donahoe coil overs for $995.00. Man they look good.

I Installed The Donahoe Coil Overs In The Front And Love Them. But I Got Tired Of Waiting And Got The Old Man Emu's In The Back. No Regrets The Old Mans Are Fine.
