How much for lift install???

Just wondering what you guys (and ladies) are paying to have your lifts installed. I did some shopping around today in the area (Virginia Beach) and found a wide range of estimates. I was inquiring about these places installing the RevTek 3 inch suspension lift. The lesser-known places are quoting in the low $200 range (Team HiDust 4x4) and the more-reputable places are quoting $500+ (Eastern Truck & Accessories / Production Off-Road). Everybody else fell in between. It also seems like they want to charge more if I order the lift and bring it to them...since it's cheaper for me that way. Thanks in advance...

Re: How much for lift install???

every place is gonna charge more if you dont buy threw them so they can make their money. I live in the same area and I cant decide if I want to try to do the lift myself or take it to one of the local shops. I've heard good things about Pro Trucks, but the run on the high side.

Re: How much for lift install???

I got pretty close to the same quotes for the different shops around here. I paid $250 for the Daystar installed and that included an alignment. I thought that was pretty fair.

Re: How much for lift install???

For a Revtech Kit I charge $300 that includes an alignment to make sure your tires dont wear out. Shops around the dallas,tx area charge ~$500......As a matter of fact I just installed one on the GM Fj today took all about 2.5 hrs Ive done 5 so far so im starting to get good at them.

I went with Pro Trucks when I put a body lift on my '01 Dakota. They did good work...I just didn't have time to make it down to Indian River Rd today. Also, I didn't check out Pungo Offroad, but I've heard HORRIBLE things about them...

And if all goes well, you will be doing an OME lift tomorrow. I'll call you in the early afternoon to confirm our time. Thanks again man.
