I'm interested in their 8089 wheels but want to know what 17x8 wheel would fit the FJ. I emailed Performance Products and left a message on their forum sponsored thread. No answer on either.

Neither of those places is known for their service - The ProComp part number you need is 8089-7883, a 17X8 6X5.5, non-hub-centric, 4.5" backspaced wheel that will JUST clear the front caliper without a spacer...(I'm a dealer for their products, so this is correct information...).

You seem to know about Pro Comp so do you know if the 7089 in 17 X 8 (0 offset; 4.5" backspacing) will fit? I couldn't find a phone number for them.

Hi Larry....if you have time can you tell me if the 16x8 7089 will fit the FJ?? If not those the 17x8 or 17x9 7089??? Thanks, Match.
Pro comps phone # is 1-866-232-0665. They are very helpful and a good group pf guys. I also have a 2nd number I am pretty sure is Pro Comp also. 310-762-6593.

This is what your looking for I believe, 7089-7883, be aware though, you'll probably need to grind some material from the outer edge of the front calipers for clearance. Keep it in the family and buy them from cruiserlarry at dirtyparts.com, and don't forget the proper lugs.

I'm hoping I don't have to grind.....I called Pro Comp and Terry said there should not be any problem with the 17X8.....I will be putting on my Donahoes and new shoes hopefully tomorrow....
