How did you determine that? I have found that 285/70/17's rubbed the body mount without a bumper/winch, 275/70/17 work all day long including with the swaybars disconnected.

Jim_D is running 285's on his rig with Donahoe's in the front that Reggie installed. He reports no issues, but we'll find out for sure in a couple of weeks in Telluride/Ouray.
