Double Line Pull with ARB Bumper??

Where do you attach the hook back onto the ARB bumper when you are using a snatch block and want to do a double line pull????

Anyone?

Is that even a strong point? It looks like its sole purpose in life is to support the radiator and maybe keep it from rolling off a tow truck flat bed.

Has anyone used this for snatching out of some deep mud or something?

Re: Double Line Pull with ARB Bumper??

I've tugged on it pretty hard before, it's pretty stout.

EXTREMELY stout. Ever wonder why ARB never put shackle mounts on the FJ bumper?

x2 very stout point. I've used it several times on different rig and all held up just fine. I've winched rigs over obstacles with no problems from this point. I would use this point any time needed.

Re: Double Line Pull with ARB Bumper??

I have used it on a double line pull using winch on a multi mount in a 2" receiver on the fron of the FJ. No problems at all.

I have been towed out of frame-deep mud up a steep hill from an FJ with an ARB rigged up back to the tow hook...

Also have used my tow hook for EXTREMELY VIOLENT AND FOOLISH recoveries...

Maybe homedad can come in and talk about those.

I know what you mean though, about that part of the front end being odd. That part hanging down under the radiator certainly isn't very monstrous looking. Front skids mount to that with holes...
