Downey Lift Installed Today...

Went with the adjustable 3" coilovers in front and for now a 1.5" taller spring.

FJ sits very nice and the ride is much better than stock. Wheels and tires are 285 70 17

Re: Downey Lift Installed Today...

What is the cost and where did you get the lift. I have been waiting to see what downey comes out with. I also read they supply their lifts with an extended rear brake line. Did you do new shocks on the rear, or just the springs. Thanks for the great pictures.

Re: Downey Lift Installed Today...

Bought the lift direct from Downey called them up and drove down...while i was there I decided to get the rear spacer & new shocks along with a skid plate

Cost was somewhere around 1800 for front coliovers, rear springs, rear shocks, rear spring spacers, & skid plate. I haven't put rear shocks or rear spacers in yet wanted to try it like this for a bit. I will get another 1.25" in the rear when i put the spacer and new rear shock in.

Their skid plate which is by far the best looking most functional one i have seen so far.

Re: Downey Lift Installed Today...

FJrod- I'm learning about this lifting stuff. So, you have coilovers in the front and spacers in the rear? And will the FJ sit level when you're finished? TIA
