Re: All-Pro's Rear High Clearance Bumper

Anymore info on price and availability? I trashed my rear bumper on my last excursion and I am anxious to buy a new one...wink wink...

Re: All-Pro's Rear High Clearance Bumper

We are making our own optional receiver that will bolt to our bumper. We say "light towing" since it will not be rated for towing. The recovery points will indeed be supported for pulling, not just mounted on the face of the bumper.[/quote]

excellent

Re: All-Pro's Rear High Clearance Bumper

Ok, after a long wait... actually I have been lusting after an FJ since I saw the preview stuff of the Detroit show two years back... I should have my 2003 taco traded in on my new Black Cherry FJ on wednesday.

I REALLY like the rear bumper. I would like to mount a jerry can on the back somehow and am interested in the spare tire jerry can rack mounts for the rear.

I also like the All PRo front BUT I NEED the 2" bars to protect the lights. Unlike the off roaders here I use the truck for work. I LIVE in my truck! I travel WV, PA, NY, ON, QC, MI, KY, OH, IN, etc....

I need the kangaroo killer bars on top so I don't have a hood replacement when I take out a deer when they're in rut. I got an ARB on the TACO (I'll sell it if anyone is interested for $600 as the dealer told me to take it off and put the original back on)

Any hope of getting a mod on the front with some bars to wrap the top like the ARB?

Also, how flat is the top of that bumper? Do I got room to set down my 4" diameter SS coffee mug? Or how bout a beer? I like the ARB cause I can do that.

I work in Mfg and deal with lots of people. I really like the All Pro stuff and it would save me the trouble of trying to convince IbisTek, who makes the Hummer bumpers, to mod me one up.

Can someone at All Pro post some info when ou guys get a minute. Thanks mucho.

Nice bumper action!

I for one am about to the point of pulling the trigger on the whole bumper decision but I have a nagging question.

Q- What do you do with the license plates? Get a killer bumper and then stick a license plate on it like an after thought?

Both my states require front plates.

I would like two clean bumpers with nothing but a receiver slot that would handle this http://www.warn.com/truck/winches/sr...ltimount.shtml

I'd rather make a mount for this to bolt down in the back only when needed and be left with a bumper that is nice and light for 99% of the time that I need it (I care more about the bumper's protection of the front and rear than looking 'cool 'with a winch that I'm obviously not using at any given time).
ditto. front & rear bumpers. bolt-on, lightweight, clean lines. recievers front and rear. if enough people are interested it will happen! i've already asked all-pro about a front bumper w/ receiver and got a "not at this time".

I put mine on the dash. I've never been hassled about it. And I'm in a fellow hardcore-auto-rules state (Ca.).

Actually, I keep my front plate in my glove compartment and if I get pulled over, I quickly reach in and throw it on my dash. But, your results may vary!
