Anyone know how to do this? I'd like to spin my back tires and do tighter U-turns. I'd like to speed up the tire wearing process so that I can have a reason to upgrade to some offroad tires!

There is a whole thread on this subject a couple of pages back. Called "Install of VSC cancel switch" started by Ospreyguy. Read through to the end for several techniques.
I had a near miss a couple of months ago pulling onto the freeway from a tight cornered on ramp. As I came out of the turn, I had to accelerate from about 45 to 65 very quickly in order to merge into traffic. Just as I was accelerating hard and about to enter traffic, one tire hit a pothole and lost traction. The traction control kicked in and cut engine power and applied some braking. The cars behind me had to do some semi-emergency braking to avoid hitting the back of me and there was nothing I could do. Felt helpless and waited for the crunch. Fortunately, it didn't come although I got the finger from the guy behind me as he went around. I now have a cancel switch to use around town and off road. When I will be driving at high speeds as on a road trip, I turn the system back on. The example I gave was the worst case, but I have had numerous instances where the trac kicked in and created the hazzard that wasn't there before.
Take care,
Bugs
