Phenomenal-looking rig. This is my new favorite front end. Beefy, but proportional. Do you know total weight? Did you re-bolt-on the factory skid plate after?

Re: Fab Four Front Bumper

Looks awesome. I am so jealous. I installed the GOBI Rack on my Titanium FJ this weekend, but I have to wait till next spring for the bumper. I am just in love with the Fab Four Bumper. Looks great.

yes the factory plate is bolted back on, it aligns perfectly.

The bling plate was removed.

Welcome to the dilema!

You should never go down the road of modification if you are concerned at all about your credit card!

By the way, once you get the coilovers, sliders, bumper, rear suspension everything else can wait a bit... ie: lights, winch, beadlocks, etc.
yeah, Its a long process, if you have other hobbies you like to pursue. I probably need more trail time under the belt before stepping up to all the stuff being talked about here.

Re: Fab Four Front Bumper

I called and ordered mine today after reading this thread on Sat. James told me the bumper should get to San Diego by Friday. How much do you have to trim the inner fenders?

Ok they removed the rivet and that little piece comes off, no cutting at all I actully tie wrapped them up and they nearly cover the entire back of the bumper see photo below, I thought at first we would have to cut something they are very secure.

The instruction manual will cover this in detail.

Re: Fab Four Front Bumper

Thanks. It looks a lot cleaner than the ARB installation (I need to cancel that pre-order).

Re: Fab Four Front Bumper

Looks great. Will have to wait for the final on the Expedition One before making a decision. Love the Hella's and the fact that you can run intergral solenoid winches like the Expedition One.

EDIT: Yeah....that bumper is badass fo sho
