Vehicle Weight after Modifications

I had the chance to weigh my FJ for charity at Jeep week on Saturday in Silverton.

Total weight 5108 full tank of GAS

LF 1431, RF 1219

LR 1213 RR 1245

Modifications: Tires, Bumper, Winch, Gobi Rack, Stereo and rock rails.

I had my normal complete tool selections, shovel, lots of recovery gear and travel gear.

I was not in the FJ

So I figure once I switch to the winch cable will lose a few lbs, but adding the rear control arms and some more armor and rear bumper with tire carrier it will finish out at 5500Lbs

Intresting, the weight in the rear is almost distributed eavenly but the front is a bit heavier to the drivers side. Could that be a result of the winch or??

not knowing, could be fuel tank ? not sure.

Fuel tank is located on driver's side but I suspect the steering assembly and brake master cylinder help make the driver's side a little heavier.

Mebbe that 200 lb difference contributes to the FJ lean some folks have. Surprised it's that much more.

And the battery should add some 50 lbs on the driver's side as well.
