You can then run A-TRAC or the rear locker, but not both at the same time. If you want to do that, then you must do this splice/tap routine.

Right,

I assumed that would be understood.

So, if I tap the pin 44 (A4) to the pin 1(A5) I would have activate A-Trac even if I dont have rear locker diff?

Right before reading this thread I was analizing the schematic on the Skid Control ECU to see what could I do. So tell me if what I asked could be reasonable or tell what do you think about it.

Ok, did some checking for you. If your FJ did not come with the rear locker, you have a diffrent VSC computer. So there will be no way to modify it to get it to work with ATRAC, unless you go buy and replace the computer with the other one. I understand this is a $2500 part.

Whoo heart attack!!!!

Did you notice that in the electrical manual (fj_electrical.pdf from brockandbecca)? If so, in what page.
I surrender then.

Congrats on all of you who have all the buttons working. I'll still biting my chin....

Thanks a lot Tankota!!

Tankota, can you check what about the 4wd control ECU (rear diff lock.) with the connector L7 (page 45). Thats in the driver side under dash, is not the 4wd ECU located in the passenger side area. The schematics are in the page 196 of the electrical manual

LOL.. I know Alex personaly, I've wheeled with him and he's a former Prez of one of my clubs The Trail Crew here in So Cal before he moved to NM. He realy knows his Toyota stuff. Even more amazing because he doesn't own an FJ (yet) and :gasp: He drives a Jeep.

Re: Rear Locker + ATRAC

Awesome.

Really awesome.

It works, and the install is easy aside from the fact that I cut myself pretty bad...

Now to test it out tomorrow, but the lights don't lie, do they?

Hopefully nothing else was screwed up:P
