I have a suggestion for all that post "Comparisons". Some of these threads get rather long so, what do you think about creating a poll of those being compared? A poll might allow others to see at a quick glance what others think is the best products. What do you think?
That won't get you much. Many things, like the looks of an item, are subjective. For me, all the bumpers currently fail because I don't want to mount a winch. For sliders, do you want them out for a step, or tucked in as much as possible? Now, you can start your own thread with a poll saying "I need a X to do A, B and C. Which of these is best?" That would be more useful to you, IMHO.

Re: Complete Front Bumper Comparison

I don't imagine many people are going to buy several different ones and say oh I like A much better than I did B.

Of course if you got time and money, why the hell not!

Yeah I saw that. Still, I figure if I'm not going to have a winch, I would like to use the space for a front receiver. I'm in no hurry

Question Re: Complete Front Bumper Comparison

Before you me I've spent the last 30 minutes searching... and if it is somewhere else on the forum it's in the wrong spot as it should be a line item in this comparision.

Since this is a comparison, what about approach angles? It looks to me like the ARB takes away and others like the AllPro may add? Could all the manufacturers take measurements using the stock suspension height and stock tires? I ask to keep it stock so we can have an accurate comparison.

There are a couple I just don't like the looks of and won't buy, but there are quite a few that I like and can't make a decision yet based on just price, weight, material, etc. Knowledge of approach angle would really help.

Re: Complete Front Bumper Comparison

Would be helpful OlyWaFJ, good idea. I'll try to get with some of the manufacturers and see if I can get that info.

Re: Complete Front Bumper Comparison

Any chance of another all pro group buy?

Also, do they have a powder coating option?

Re: Complete Front Bumper Comparison

Rover, can you please change the weight on the Fab Fours to 106 lbs, that was my fault, I was at the fab shop and they had one on the scale 106 and that is all the hardware.
