Thumbs up New Source for Sliders!

new-source-sliders-sliders4-sm.jpgBeen waiting patiently and Richard Stubbs is now coming out with sliders for the FJ Cruiser. Just got his first set and as typical of Richard's work, they're absolutely TERRIFFIC!

Richard is running the Rubicon right now but you can catch him in the shop next week via richard@stubbswelding.com . If you're not aware of his products, you need to check it out at http://www.stubbswelding.com/rocksliders.htm

He's been building since 1998 and has some of the best sliders on the trails.

Price has not been set but will run competitively with other top of the line sliders.......$350 - $400new-source-sliders-sliders1-sm.jpg

look like allpro's, which I like, not sure if allpro has the upward angle though, which I also like. Will have to compare the two.

Re: New Source for Sliders!

I like the HD sliders with 2X kick outs on the "Other Products" page. Pretty hard core. He's got great trail pics on his site too.

Re: New Source for Sliders!

Yet another option for me to consider! I had decided on the Bent-up/Trail gear sliders once they came powder-coated from the shop, but now, I just do not know anymore!

Re: New Source for Sliders!

Just so you are aware... Richard is a stright up guy and he ships his sliders "raw"... His thoughts are you're going to mess 'em up anyway, go to Wally World get some spray on in your favorite shade, and put the paint to them...

That worked fine for me 'cause i've wasted $$ in the past on powdercoating........ Only to have to spray the worst of the "scars" anyway....

Thanks for the info, I would really prefer to have someone powder-coat them for me, but I will still consider these sliders, anyhow.
