I haven't heard back from him since the last time he emailed me indicating that he was on it as far as the skids for the FJ were concerned. Steve at Sonoran Steel has contact with him on a regular basis, so maybe he'll weigh in with an update.
BudBuilt's first set of prototype skids are at the laser cutter. He said he shoud be able to finish the first fitting in 1.5 weeks. If the fitting goes well he will be crank up the cutter for the first run of plates shortly afterwards.

lol, hope not. Majojo4 was looking into local fabrication. I'll try to IM him tonight and see if he's made progress on that front
Thanks, I too am tryin to get DJ (DJ's traction systems) to do tube skids, He is really busy and don't know if he will have time. All I know for certain is that functional skid plates are less expensive than a roll back wreaker trip to SLC+transfer case etc....
