Sliders with the best all around protection?

I am trying to decide which set of sliders are the best for the money and how tough each of them are. If anybody has had a good or bad experience with their sliders, I would like to know. I am planning to go to Tellico in October for some "casual" offroading. I also want to use the sliders as steps. I want to make sure that I buy something that isn't going to fall apart and bend up easy.

P.S. They also need to look good on the truck for my wife.

More than Likely it will be Demello, it was a toss up for a bit, but because Demello is near me it makes it a plus in terms of support and not having to wait and pay for shipping. Not to mention they are sick sick sick.

Demello...clean design, stick out just enough for solid protection (and as step/roof rack loading support) but no so much that they are obtrusive, top notch craftmanship (welds are solid). Not to say that others are not good choices, just that the Demellos fit my needs the best.

What do you guys think of the All Pro's? Seems like you can even use them as a step.

Gosh, I'm glad I don't have to choose which sliders to get. I don't envy you. All the ones mentioned above are all good products. Each has there only tiny differences. I think I would have gone for something more local if mine weren't custom.

Tough choice!!!

Re: Sliders with the best all around protection?

I went w/ trail-gear. Reason was free shipping.

Re: Sliders with the best all around protection?

What is more durable and easier to maintain/take care of on sliders, Durabak, Line-X, Rhino, or something else?
