How difficult is the trail? This would be my first real trail run...don't want to get in over my head.

The advantage of Cleghorn Road is that there is the "road" which is a graded dirt road that you could negotiate with a passenger car. There are also 4x4 bypasses that are fun to run in the FJ. If you're uncomfortable with a rougher portion of the bypass, you can stay on the "easy" road for a hundred meters or so untill the bypass crosses it again. Everyone has to start somewhere and this provides a way for you to pick and choose (to some extent) which trails you want to attempt. In this way a group can trail together and not necessarily all go over the rough spots. The last time I did it, a novice driver in a 4x2 made it ALL THE WAY on the bypass roads without suffering any trail damage. So it's not a horrible trail. On the same run, RICOVERDE's FJ scraped the side of a rock wall and he had some paint transfers and a dent on the left rear of his rig. This was Rick's second time down Cleghorn in as many weeks and he picked up trail damage.
Some drivers air-down for Cleghorn. I don't because I don't think it's necessary and pending the arrival of the new beadlock rims from Walker Evans (on order through All Pro) I am running on stock crap Bridgestone tires and stock FJ rims.
That's about all I can tell you.
