New Mod: Completing the Spare (Pics)

Before:

One installed:

All installed:

The part:

In the first pic you can see AR did not get coating where the lugs would go, and the stock way only allows for 3 lugs leaving a dumb looking aluminum finish on my all black wheels and tires. I had bought enough lugs for every hole anyways so I made some little bits of hardware on a lathe: The part.

3 of those little faux studs, 3 washers to keep the spacing even on the stock studs (the wheel sits less than 1/8th of an inch out further now), and some extra lug nuts and I think it looks way better. I am happy with it atleast!

This mod will work on your stock spare as well. Anyone who bought wheel locks has more than enough spare lugs anyway! I bought 30 black regular lug nuts anyways forgetting about the wheel locks so I had more than enough. I had spare stock nuts before this as well but it didn't bother me as much until I saw the uncoated holes on my new rims.

If there is interest I can make some of these in the next week or two and put together a little kit, but you will have to supply your own lug nuts (M12 x 1.5 if you need to buy more!).

I have to add: This is a cosmetic mod and as such these parts will be sold for show use only. Only you as the owner of the vehicle can decide to modify your vehicle and no liability will be accepted by Ellis Precision for anything that results from your decision to do so. Thanks!
