Thumbs up Brake Upgrade For Your Fj

Although I was impressed with the brake performance of the FJ out of the box, I am a performance addict. As a long time Landcruiser fanatic, I can't leave well enough alone. If you are like me, then I would like to tell you about a brake upgrade I've been evaluating:
EBC performance slotted / dimpled rotors with EBC Green stuff performance pads. EBC is an English company known world-wide for their performance brake products (ask any motorcycle enthusiast), and I've fit checked and am now using their direct replacement performance rotors and pads on my FJ Cruiser. The good factory stopping performance has been dramatically improved further. Installation of all four rotors and pads should take any capable DIY'r or mechanic an hour or so, with no mods to the FJ. They stop quicker, stay cooler, and the dimples have the same benefits as drilled holes w/o the downside of fissuring from excess heat or hard off road usage. I will mention I am biased towards performance upgrades, as I sell EBC (and Brembo, Baer, and SSBC brakes) at my store, but the info is honest.
