I'm cheap too! But what I'd really love is to just plug in my iPod and forget about it until I'm in the mood for one of my playlists. As it stands, I now have to dig my iPod out of the glove box or bag, plug in the connector, check to see if it's charged, if not plug in the charger, power on and find the playlist.
So much easier just to hit a button on the H/U and see playlists displayed. Crossing my fingers the integration is done well.
