Re: Oil/filter change

As a personal preference for a break in change I'd go with Valvoline or Kendall. After a couple dinosaur oil changes I'd convert to RedLine synthetic...see www.redlineoil.com for why it's 'da bomb.

I have taken apart engines over the years where the customer religously used PeeZoil and find varnish build up along with broken parts---one of oils jobs is to keep the engine clean with the proper detergent package.

Valvoline DuraBlend partial synthetic isn't bad if you don't want to spring the 8.00 a quart for RedLine.

My observations thru the years is like this: Opinions on motor oil brands are like a-holes---everyone has one.
Nobody seems to care however what tranny fluid, brake fluid, gear oil or anti freeze they use.
