I'll be heading out west the week after Christmas too...to snowboard. (skiing..ugh

)
I've been to park city twice and it's great. Really high quality resort with lots of varying runs and terrain. Olympic terrain parks, nice groomers, an all around good place to board. (ski..sorry.) Even though I broke my arm there on my first visit..it's still a great place...not to mention the town in itself is great.
The past 2 years I've hit Heavenly in Lake Tahoe...wow. If the crazy views and scenery don't get you..the 8-10 ft base, powder, amazing tree skiing, and warm temperatures definitely will. Theres something for everyone..and Mott/Kilibrew Canyons are wicked fun.
I made a trip to Big Sky like 5 years ago..and I won't comment on anything except it was way too cold. -20 something. too cold to be worried about snowboarding.
If you made me pick out of all of them..I'd pick Heavenly. Simply because you can cut off a run into the trees, board for 10 minutes in straight virgin powder, and pop out on another run. I'm trying to get back to Heavenly..but I'm looking at Jackson Hole too..everything I've read says theres some sick expert terrain at JH.
who knows..maybe I'll run in to ya
