Steamboat Springs is the best!! Great town, the Steamboat Grand is a very nice hotel and the skiing does not get any better. If you want to stay somewhere and try different mountains, Frisco is a nice place. You are close to Brek, Copper, Keystone, A-Basin.
But for the family, it's hard to beat Steamboat.
