Re: will 285/70-17 tires fit?
I've had roughly the same mpg with the stock tires, 265/70/17 BFG AT's and 285/70/17 BFG AT's. I know, that's a lot of tires for a vehicle with less than a thousand miles on it. It's a long story, but I have gone through at least one tank of gas with each of them installed. Not a comprehensive test, but a test nonetheless.
