Re: will 285/70-17 tires fit?

I just ordered 275/70-17 BFG AT's for my FJ from Kal Tire. They should fit without rubbing at all and are a little bigger than the stock size. Why haven't more people looked into these as an option?
Dr Jeff how much are paying for that size tire? The reason I'm asking is sometimes odd size or not common sizes cost more. That size tire works out to about 32.4" and stock is around 31.85" give or take depending on tire make.
265/70-17 = 31.84"
275/70-17 = 32.4"
285/70-17 = 32.96"
the math is i.e. (265x70)divided by(2500)x2 + size of rim= inches in dia.
