Excellent choice! I still count Heavenly as my favorite US resort. Maybe it's because of the fantastic scenery, the sheer size of the place, or that I grew up skiing there. I ski exclusively at The Canyons here in Utah, which is the largest in the state, but it doesn't hold a candle to Heavenly. The Colorado resorts are extremely nice as well, and I would rate any of them higher than anything here in Utah, but still below Heavenly.
