It's not the sites that are blocked, or that sites don't support troops. The military servers use keywords found within the sites to determine access. It determines what is appropriate to maintain a professional environment and also to protect national security. And yes, some fantasy football sites are blocked as well. When trying to access certain sites that are blocked, 2MAW (2nd Marine Aircraft Wing) displays a page explaining why the page was blocked such as games, explicit or sexual content. Unfortunately, some people use sites like photobucket and flicker (sp?) to upload inappropriate pictures, which hurts the people who upload good clean photos for good intent. It sucks, but as we say in the Marine Corps, "there's always that 10% that F***s it up for everybody". But thank you all for your concern and I think I speak for all military on this forum by saying we appreciate you finding alternate ways to display your awesome FJs.
