Re: Cops with FJ's
I recently purchased my FJ Cruiser being that my Subaru WRX Wagon was getting worn out with the 150,000 miles I compiled in 5 years. It was a great car, but modded out and not exactly street legal in CA. I'm heading off to the CHP Academy this October and I thought it would be best if I cooperated with the law since I am going to be enforcing it once I graduate in April of 2008.
I was considering getting a Jeep Rubicon, but after test driving the FJ I was sold. The FJ seems like a better all round vehicle........highway driving is much smoother than the Rubicon and off road, it seems like it can hang. I also leaned towards the FJ because it's a Toyota and reliability is a big factor. You can't beat the 6 year, 100,000 mile warranty.
