Re: Browns Camp with Toyota Trails Team 09-29-07
As everyone has said, it was an awsome time. The FJ Trail Team put on a great clinic on Friday morning. After that, Mark from MetalTech and Robby from the Trail Team led all the FJs on a trail run. We ran Powerline and Cedar Tree and part of Firebreak Five. By then, it was late afternoon and most everyone had to get going. But Bjorn, Bill and I hadn't had enough, so we continued on up the upper section of FB5. That was a blast! A really tough hill climb just before the cut off to Crushers. The FJs made it look easy. We got out of there at dark.
On Saturday, the Cascade Cruisers put on a great event. The challenges were fun and we rode most of the trails in the area. Robby impressed everyone with his skills on Rock Garden and Little Rubicon. The raffle and dinner was a perfect end to a perfect day. Even the weather cooperated. Bernd was the big winner at the raffle. Congrats Bernd!!!
