I need a hitch now so I saw one on Ebay from a Toy dealer for 149, plus 15 shipping, I checked on TRD source, but it was like 2 something, I assume its got the wiring harness, which I don't need because I'm not towing big items, just using it as a bike rack thing. anyone point be to a better deal??? Id rather use a sponsor on here then some random place on ebay, but the bottom line is still price, of course. TIA all.
Get an aftermarket. You won't have to change the bumper and I believe it is a better mount since it goes on the frame rails rather than just 4 bolts on the bumper rail. I thought I was getting the Toyo one when I bought the FJ but I am glad it ended up being an aftermarket. I complained when I was first told but had to apologize because I am so much happier with the aftermarket style. Also, it won't cost you as much and will only take 30 minutes to install. You can probably visit your local uhaul and score one for under 130.
