Re: turn the DRL's OFF!

Big Bill25 is correct - the driving lights come on only when the parking brake is released all the way. Pulling the brake back on doesn't turn them off though (dumb)! GM Made trucks this way forever so the military could push the parking brake just one notch and turn off the lights at night without truely engaging the brakes. I'm going to venture a guess that you can let the parking brake off 95% and drive around without DRL's and not hurt a thing.
