I don't buy the abuse excuse (from you, the dealer, or my co-workers )... 42k miles is a different story... That's just expired warranty. I'm at 18k miles, have had 2 done already, and I'm booked in for the 3rd on tues... I fully expect it to be warranty.

If ALL the pulleys failed that's one thing. I've replaced the same pulley, and none of the others have failed... Not even the one on the bottom of the motor. I feel that if the pulleys had failed because they were exposed to conditions they weren't designed for, they ALL would have failed systematically. However only 1 fails, therefore I believe that 1 pulley to be faulty. That's my story and I'm stikin to it!
