so call them, tell them that you wanted 5/8" and its only a 1/2". its not that big of a deal. something isnt wrong with the machining on it because it sounds perfect, just not the right dimensions. thats their mistake. quit crying about it and call whoever did it and explain it. they will understand. its just the wrong size.
