Re: Daystar 1” Leveling Kit – Install Instructions

Ya, had to get it aligned. It was $50, guy said it wasn't off by much. I measured the spacer and it was only 1", but the truck is 2" higher now. I took measurements but it's hard to hold a tape, keep it straight and readable and take a picture and get a good results. My driveway isn't level and my before measurements were DS: 34" PS: 36". When I was done right off the jack I had DS: 37" and PS: 38.5" but after driving for a day and getting the alignment it went down to DS: 36" PS: 37" in the same spot in my driveway. I should have gone somewhere level to measure, I'll try to do that in the next few days, if somebody want's to measure their truck to the bottom of the fender flares in the center of the tire, I'll measure mine again. I'm guessing it will settle in a bit and will end up being 1.5" in time. For the Tacoma the kit lifts the front 1.5” and for some reason the 4-Runner with the same kit is only 1" lift as listed. Could be a weight thing with the polyurethane, I'm not sure. Almost feels like I need to lift the back .5" now. I'm sure it's close to level, but it feels weird now that I've had it for almost a month with the back so high. Does anybody know of a .5" rear kit? Boy would my wife kill me...
