Re: New tires...do I need a lift?

I haven't done my lift yet, but the tires I wanted were on sale. I put Toyo Open Country A/T- LT285/75/16 on the stock offroad package (OR) 16x7 wheels. They are close but don't rub, The tire calculator says they are taller (32.831) than 285/70/17 at 32.709". The dealer's info (Les Schwab) says they are 32.80" ( by the way the 6 ply tire is not available yet) I have the 8 ply tires. Going outside now to get a picture, back soon.
