Re: Engine Bay Body Rips

Hi Guys,
My Time to chime in.. I have a 8000 miles FJ with OME lift and ARB with a warn 9.5 running 295 Toyo MT. I was with Bernd on Black Friday and NWFJCC and he told me about it, mine is just starting to bulge. We looked at it at the begining of the trip and then I looked at it the next morning and it is bigger...

I don't jump mine at all and I just trail it gingerly, I drive it everyday so I can't break it on the trail.. This being said I do have lots of vibration in the ARB so I think there is somthing there..

But has anyone paid attition to the Poll. 47 Stock rigs with no mods at all have the same problem.. What is up with that? I don't think that it is the mods we have all put on it as it is more of a design flaw in the inner fenders..

I work for Toyota and will talk to the regional rep and the cheif tech for my area (NW) and see what they have to say...

Jim
