I'm going to be in Sunriver this weekend and plan to check out this area. The snow level dropped this week so we'll see how far we get. Looks like a very interesting spring run anyway. I'll post my findings when I get back.
Anyone in the area, PM me, we'll head up on Friday (the 23rd) afternoon.

So our run only lasted a couple hours but it was a great time. We entered Trail 3 from the south side off of FS road 4525 and we only made it about half up the trail before we turned back. There was about 4" to 5" of snow which definitely proved to be challenging, especially for the stock Xterra that went with, which was ultimately the reason we turned back. Trail 3 is very narrow and brushy which = lots of pinstriping. The wife's a little pissed about this latest round of scratches so in the spring we'll probably run the other loops. It's a fun area to play in if you get out that way.
Once again we left on vacation and forgot the camera, so no pic's. Sorry.
