That really is BS, especially considering this excerpt on their homepage
Our beadlock's are machined from the highest quality aircraft grade aluminum available. Each beadlock was designed using the latest in 3D engineering and analysis software. Each and every conversion is manufactured under strict quality control standards.
A 20% margin of error for "strict" quality control? It seems pretty obv .5 stock being used to save money, or at least that face hasnt been machined down, thats printing from the stock extruder.
