Guess I should have mention that all the trails in Edison are very narrow. This area is fairly new so all the trails are pretty tight. Hopefully next summer it will get thinned out, but I'm just happy to have new trails in the Bend area!

Wish I was here over the holiday would have loved to go out with you guys.
Also there are a few good trails just west of that area behind Mt.Bachelor.
Awe, it's all good. The trail was fun for as far as we went. I don't have a winch yet but one (out of the 3) of the other rigs we were with had one and had it not been for the Xterra we would have pushed a lot further.

The gate was closed on the Cascade Lakes HWY just past the 40 junction (coming over from Eugene) so making it all the way around the backside of Bach wasn't happening without some serious trekking through the forest service roads. Anyway, great area and I look forward to hitting it in the spring. If you and Bernd hit it, let me know. I'd love to join.

Oh. The picture in my avatar is the South East side of Crane Prairie on our FJ's first offroad trip, last Sept (2006).
