How come they are not covering it under warranty? Why do you have to pay that much to get it rebuilt? Is there a rebuild kit available? I am sure we could figure it out; it can't be that hard. I would imagine there has to be a seal rebuild kit and we could have it compressed locally but, I think I would call around for folks that do suspensions locally.
Do you still have the stock shocks(if not you're welcome to mine)? I don't know if they sent you a kit or the fully assembled shock and you had them installed. If it is a kit all you would need to buy is the upper housing from Toyota and put the stock shock in that would let you at least drive it while it is getting fixed. It is part # 8-13 on this webpage ToyotaPartSales.com x 2 if you want the truck to sit level while you sh*t is getting fixed remotely.

I already have the one and only seal that needs replaced...It's that much because the only guy that can do it charges $75.00/hr...I've called about 7 shops in the area and no one will touch a walker evan (they all call it highend)...I already know what the amount of oil and nitrogen needs to be when re-filled and have already been walked through how to fix it...I just don't have a garage or the tools to do it...Same goes for flippin' out the shock with a stock one while it gets fixed...But the time I pay shipping and go buy a floor jack and find somewhere to do it and then do it, it will cost me more than $200 in time...It sux living in a condo where you aren't even allowed to change your oil...We have been looking for a new place for 5 wks. now and hopefully will be moved by the end of January...It's tough finding a place here with a garage, but I'm set on getting one!!
