The only things I did slightly different from your install were:
1) I added two 1/4" loops (used to secure cables against walls) to either side of my bracket at the top. These are used to help in routing wires.
2) I put heat shrink tubing on all connections
3) put some RTV on the rubber gasket where the wiring was run from the engine compartment into the cabin
4) I have not yet added a fuse to the wiring supplying power to the new fuse block.

It depends on the type of lighting requirements, I am running IPF's they require you to go straight to the Battery for the power, they also have their own built in fuse block in the harness. If you plan on running fog's, or that type of lighting, that is how I would run it, right to this fuse block. I hope this helps.
