Not trying to be difficult here, but seriously ... if the gun is in this thing, it's not accessible if you need it. Got that. But if you don't want to carry it with you (and I can understand that), why do you think this will keep anyone from taking your weapon? It might keep a kid from accidentally firing it, but anyone who wants to take your weapon will do so -- and just use a knife/hacksaw/bandsaw to free it when he gets home.

Just not sure what the benefit is. Seems like a fancy trigger lock, that's all. It won't "secure" the weapon in your vehicle.
