Snow in Tahoe?

I'm headed to Tahoe in 2 weeks, and I'm a little concerned about the snow..

I know November, early December can be slow for snow, but the other day there was like a 23 inch base at Heavenly..and only a fraction of the lifts open. I've never boarded @ Heavenly when anything was closed, so I'm hoping it dumps for 2 weeks. Looking at the forecast for the resort it says there could be up to 5 feet this week..that would be great. It also says that tree riding is prohibited until further notice, and none of the parks are open..bummer.

So whats the word Tahoe guys...how much snow does it take to get everything opened up? A trip to Tahoe isn't right unless you can get to Mott Canyon
