I had a Craftsman clicker for a few years and it broke. I replaced it with Husky (form Home Depot) and it does have a lifetime warranty.
I have never seen a Tq wrench out of spec cause issues. They may get out a few lbs either way but in most cases that would be no big deal.
It's the consistency that matters , especially with wheels. Anyway, I have been using my tq wrench for several years now and it's still as good as when I bought it.
