Re: tow line svs linetic snatch lines

Just stay away from tow lines that have metal hooks on the ends. I had one break when towing a neighbor's car out of a snow drift with my jeep; the metal hook shot straight back at the front of the jeep. It broke the turn signal light and put a rather large dent in the fender. I'm lucky it didn't come toward the windshield or anyone standing around the jeep.
